The sheets give yield comparisons and key agronomic characters for all LSPB varieties, and are the ideal tool for growers, advisers and the seed trade wanting full details about currently available commercial varieties. The web site allows users to check each variety’s key characters online, or to download the sheet for reference.

Spring beans are represented by the four highest-yielding varieties on the Recommended List – Lynx, Mallory, Fanfare and Vertigo. Full details are given, with the top ‘9’ rating for Downy mildew resistance of Lynx and Mallory of particular note.

There are fact sheets for the popular Large Blue pea Campus and newly-recommended Bluetime and Blueman, along with White pea Gregor, and top-yielding Marrowfat Aikido.

The AHDB Recommended hybrid oilseed rape varieties Wembley and Mentor are on the web site. Wembley is popular with growers for its consistent on farm performance over the seasons which reinforces its gross output and agronomic value.

Mentor remains the only Fully Recommended clubroot resistant winter oilseed rape, and has been on the list since 2015, underlining its continuing value to growers in regions where clubroot in an issue.
