Landmark Systems Limited, based in West Sussex, is boosting its sales team in the North of England and North Wales. Landmark is the UK’s leading supplier of sector specific, easy to use KEYPrime accounting and property management software and most recently Geofolia, a crop recording program used extensively in Europe.

James Lightfoot, grew up on his family dairy farm in rural Cheshire, where feeding calves and driving tractors was part and parcel of home life.   James gained an Agricultural degree from Harper Adams University and on graduating started his career in the animal feed sector predominantly in sales.  He appreciates the rural support role played by the Young Farmers’ Clubs nationally having been a group leader and treasurer himself.

Looking for a new sales consultant in Landmark’s North West region, James was a natural fit bringing to Landmark his extensive knowledge of both agriculture and sales.  He will be supporting Roger Winter, an established senior sales consultant with Landmark, who has been with the software company for over 15 years.

Helen Wyman joined Landmark in May 2018, to take over the role of sales consultant in the North of England.

Helen is a farmer’s daughter from York, who has lived and worked in the industry all her life. After graduating from Sutton Bonington (University of Nottingham), she pursued a career within the agricultural advice sector, working for Natural England, Syngenta and ADAS UK. Within these companies Helen enjoyed finding solutions for farmers’ problems and providing them with excellent customer service.

Landmark will provide an excellent opportunity for Helen to advise farmers and businesses on solutions for their accountancy and crop management software needs. She says: “The products have been designed with agricultural businesses at their heart allowing them to fit with many farming businesses. The Landmark values of high end, yet friendly customer service coupled with an excellent product attracted me to the company, with my background in crop management I am particularly interested in the new Geofolia crop recording software which Landmark launched last year,” comments Helen.
