A major new grain storage and marketing group launches today, having been formed by farmers in the South of England.

Trinity Grain is a new cooperative formed to store and market 200,000 tonnes of grain annually for 300 members.  It will operate from stores at Membury in Berkshire, Micheldever in Hampshire and Shrewton in Wiltshire.

Trinity Grain’s chairman, Jerry Bailey, said “Trinity’s members will benefit from a robust business which is able to add value to high quality grain through a strong market presence and expertise in grain blending and storage.”

Through its marketing agent, Openfield, Trinity Grain members have access to a range of customers who value quality assured grain which is delivered reliably and consistently from professionally managed stores.
