The latest edition of Farm Business, looks at the unfolding political situation and analyse the latest developments as far as farmers are concerned when it comes to the uncertainty around a no deal. This includes a potentially significant agreement on the UK’s import tariff regime in the event of a no deal, which appears to have seen Defra Secretary Michael Gove prevail over some of his Cabinet colleagues.

Farm Business also profiles a local Cornish food hub scheme, which is set to go nationwide and look at an innovative move by a Cotswolds supermarket, which is becoming the UK’s first major retailer to make it mandatory for suppliers to tell shoppers where their ingredients are sourced from.
