BKT has launched Agrimax Proharvest, utilising VF (Very High Flexion) technology. The company claims it offers up to 40% more load than a standard tire at the same inflation pressure. It ensures a wider and more even weight distribution on the ground, significantly reducing the risk of compaction and promoting soil conservation.
Growers can also expect greater resilience against accelerated wear, or damage. During harvesting phases, load variations due to grain tank filling and emptying can cause considerable stress on the tires. The tyre features a reinforced polyester casing combined with three layers of steel belts and a new compound formulation that ensures greater resistance to preserve tyre condition, even in case of high and cyclic loads.
Trelleborg has launched the new TM900 ProgressiveTraction range for higher horsepower tractors. Featuring ProgressiveTraction technology, the company claims 17% more traction.
The wider base of the tyre is said to help reduce vibrations, which not only provides a smoother ride but also optimises fuel efficiency and increases durability by around 20% in heavy-duty operations, according to the company.
The ProgressiveTraction lug design improves self-cleaning, while the optimised lug angle and shape reportedly provide increased stability on the road.
“It’s essential that tyres do more than just carry the load: they must actively enhance performance, protect the soil, and boost operational efficiency,” commented global product marketing director Alessio Bucci.
