With growers taking advantage of the kind autumn weather, the deadline for the National Arable and Grassland Awards 2026 has been extended until Friday, October 3rd.
Already numerous entries are in but the extension will give those busy preparing ground, applying pre-ems of getting seed ready, a little more time to complete entries or make final nominations.
14 awards are up for grabs with two new categories for 2026, the Andrew Lawman Safety Award and Dealer of the Year, plus revised categories to reflect the changing nature of the industry. Forage Crop Grower of the Year will include those excelling in all forage crops for feed or energy production, Root Crop Grower of the Year will include potatoes, veg and sugar beet.
The National Arable and Grassland Awards will be held on Wednesday, 11 February 2026, at the Hilton London Bankside.
Hosted by a top comedian, the event includes a lavish dinner and great entertainment to round off the evening. As well as the chance of some well-deserved recognition, it’s an opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy what is always an entertaining event.
