Agrointelli forced out of market as bid to find a buyer fails

According to Danish trade outlet, LandbrugsAvisen, Agrointelli, which developed the Robotti agricultural robot, will not be sold as a single entity, effectively removing the product from the market and causing the loss of 20 jobs.

The company was issued a bankruptcy order by the Bankruptcy Court in Herning at the end of February after it was found to lack sufficient liquidity to continue operating.

It was hoped that AgroIntelli would be sold in its entirety to a single buyer, however reports now confirm that patents and software have been sold off individually, accounting for a greater financial result than a single sale. The buyers are reportedly industry players.

Trustees are now hoping to sell the remaining assets, including fully built robots.
