Claas has replaced its Arion 500 with the Arion 5 Cmatic
Three models will be available, with power outputs of 180hp, 165hp and 145hp. According to the company, the 180 hp model offers permanently available maximum power output and a power-to-weight ratio of just 42.8 kg/hp.
All three feature the Claas Cmatic CVT transmission with adaptive power train management including Auto Load Anticipation, automatic trailer overrun braking and wheel loader mode when using a front loader.
The algorithm-controlled auto load function detects load spikes in advance, and the engine speed is proactively increased – whilst simultaneously adjusting the transmission – before the load spike occurs. This ensures stable handling even during dynamic changes and prevents drops in engine speed
All models feature a fully suspended front axle, cab suspension and premium seats, in addition to a high-end multimedia system.
There is the option of the Cemos Dialog self-learning driver assistance and process optimisation system and the automatic reference track change function.
Claas says a combination of Cemos Dialog and Claas connect provide state-of-the-art digital solutions for precision farming, machine and task management, as well as documentation.
