The AHDB has announced that Baroness Minette Batters will be one of the speakers at its Big Scottish Crops Conference on 10 December 2026.
The conference will be held at the Carnegie Conference Centre in Dunfermline on Thursday 10 December 2026, bringing together growers, industry experts and stakeholders from across the sector.
The content agenda includes an update on the Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) agreement by Jenny Brunton of the British Agriculture Bureau (BAB), a debate on the fairness of grain origins and Tom Allen Stevens of the British On-Farm Innovation Network (BOFIN) will share the latest insights from its farmer-led trials.
Adrian James, AHDB knowledge exchange manager, said: “Events like this are important in these uncertain times. Last year’s conference was well attended, with delegates saying they enjoyed the day and found it informative and helpful. They also valued the opportunity to talk to other farmers and people in the industry, pooling experiences and making new contacts. I hope they will return in December, and look forward to seeing new faces, too.”
