The addition of the SESVANDERHAVE sugar beet varieties Adder and Tawny to the British Beet Research Organisation’s Recommended List for 2023. The recommendation reflects the result of a decade of breeding and extensive UK trialling where both varieties have delivered consistent and resilient performance.

“The investment in Near Infra-Red Spectroscopy on our mobile tarehouse means we can now analyse sugar content as we harvest; thus accelerating selection of promising genetics and keeping down trial costs.”

As a result of these advances in trialling, SESVANDERHAVE has an exciting line-up of new products in the pipeline that are likely to significantly improve UK sugar beet production in the years ahead.
