Nov-25 UK feed wheat futures have recovered slightly after hitting a new low earlier in the week.
The latest AHDB Grain Market Report sees the November wheat futures contract at £177.30/t. While the Rosario grains exchange trimmed estimates for Argentinian wheat output for 2025/26, gains were capped by improving crop prospects in the US and Russia.
AHDB senior analyst Helen Plant doesn’t expect any great recovery soon. However, July is a key month in the US as harvest starts and it’s a critical point in the season for corn. Weather impacts could still come into play.
Nov-25 Paris rapeseed futures stand at €489.25/t, a slight gain over the week with worries over the Ukraine crop. However, gains were capped by uncertainties over the US-China trade deal.
