Defra is to host a webinar on the Adopt programme (Accelerating Development of Practices and Technologies) to explain the support and funding options for growers.
Adopt funding is designed to help farmers develop practical ideas to solve some of the challenges the industry experiences.
The webinar will take place on 22 October 2026. Defra says it will talk through the latest funding rounds, the types of ideas Adopt can support, what makes a strong application and how the Adopt Support Hub can help develop a project.
Katie Dubarry from Innovate UK will give an update on upcoming round dates, the increase in maximum project size, and the eligibility criteria and scale of grants available. Chris Till from Innovate UK Business Connect will also be there to answer questions on Adopt project facilitators, including how to find one and how to become one.
