Reportedly one of the fastest 4×4 electric ATVs in the world will make its UK debut at Lamma. Distributor Boss ORV claims it offers all of the benefits of a conventional machine without any damage to the environment.
Powered by lithium-ion batteries, the Tachyon features direct drive hub motors to achieve up to 50hp and 210Nm of torque. As there is no standard transmission, vibrations and heat build-up are also minimised, with no mechanical components meaning that maintenance is reduced.
Regenerative braking further helps to extend the battery life, while also providing hill descent control.
Boss ORV is the sole UK distributor for the Tachyon and will showcase it alongside the Corvus range of UTVs and the Faunamaster compact seed drills.
