Claydon to hold establishment open days

Agricultural machinery manufacturer Claydon, has announced open day for Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th May at its factory and farm in Bunters Road, Wickhambrook, Suffolk, CB8 8XY.

The company suggests it is an opportunity for growers considering a change of establishment system to learn more about the financial and agronomic benefits of Claydon Opti-Till direct drilling and stubble management machinery,

Each session will include a crop walk, factory tour, a chance to view the latest Claydon machinery and presentations from three guest speakers. Dick Neale from crop protection specialists Hutchinsons will discuss soil health and cover crops, James Lane from Omnia will outline the benefits of using a standalone farm management system and Grant James from Sea2Soil will speak about organic soil improvers.

The sessions will run from 08.15 to 13.00, to include arrival refreshments and lunch, while afternoon sessions will be held from 12.30 until 17.15, to include lunch and refreshments.
