John Deere will return to Lamma, the stand featuring its new 6R and 6M tractor ranges.

The 6R range will be represented by the new 6R 240, which adds a higher-horsepower model to the large-frame range. The updated tractors feature a range of developments aimed at improving road transport, field performance and operator comfort.

The 6M range has also received a major update, with 17 models across five wheelbases and a top speed of 50km/h. Transmission choices include the e19 full powershift and AutoPowr stepless transmission, alongside a range of technology options allowing operators to specify different levels of precision farming functionality.

Commenting on the return to the show, Chris Wiltshire, tactical marketing manager at John Deere, said: “Lamma is the right show at the right time for us off the back of two years of major launches for the UK and Irish market.

“Some of the machines we will take to the NEC were only announced this summer so many farmers haven’t had the opportunity to get in the cab or speak to our product specialists about them. We are planning a strong presence and are really looking forward to showing the industry what we have to offer before a busy season of fieldwork kicks off in 2027.”

Visitors will also be able to explore John Deere’s wider suite of technology solutions, while representatives from John Deere Financial will be available to discuss how the Precision Essentials package can provide a financed entry into precision farming through the company’s SmartLine facility.
