Can-Am is bringing power, performance, capability, versatility and innovation to LAMMA 2023, with the debut of its new Traxtor 6×6 DPS HD10.

This new Traxtor model is a six-wheel drive, with an 82HP V-twin liquid cooled engine from Rotax, and a 40-litre fuel tank, plus a longer wheelbase and triple axle design – compared to the previous Traxtor models – which spreads the weight of the vehicle so its treads better across varied terrains.

With these additions, the Traxtor 6×6 DPS HD10 can now be used for tasks in the farming, estate management and facilities maintenance sectors; including hauling machinery and transporting workers and equipment to job sites.

The HD10 has an extended cargo box, while it’s towing, payload and cargo capacities come in at 1,360kg, 771kg, and 454kg respectively. The vehicle’s integrated design elements include the LinQ quick-attach system, built-in anchors, tie-down points and recesses for easy box separator solutions, for easy customisations.

The Traxter 6×6 DPS HD10 is a versatile workhorse

The SSV’s cockpit has been designed by Can-Am’s research and development team, as such the cab pillars have been pushed forward, for an open-dash configuration, and a truck-inspired VERSA-PRO bench seat has been added. The seat accommodates up to three adults and flips up for additional space in the cab.

James Dalke, BRP commercial manager UK, said: “It’s all about evolution on the Can-Am stand this year at LAMMA, and we are excited to be debuting the new Can-Am Traxter 6×6 DPS HD10, the latest and biggest addition to our Traxter offering.

“This new model highlights how our off-road line-up is continuing to develop to meet the needs of the end user by providing them with a class-leading vehicle that can flex its motorised muscles to do jobs and reach areas other SSVs may not be able to reach or handle. In addition, our Can-Am team is counting down the days to the show, so we can highlight how our vehicles will benefit an engaged audience.”

Also at LAMMA, the Can-Am off-road team will be on hand to highlight the brand’s Responsible Rider Charter that was launched during Farm Safety Week.
