Low Carbon Agriculture show launches Digital Insights webinars

Low Carbon Agriculture (LCA) has launched a series of webinars each month on the run up to the show in March 2021, with the first session kicking off in September.

Leading with the theme ‘Reaching Net Zero in Agriculture’, key industry speakers will make their case in ten minutes, and invite questions from the audience at 18:00 on Wednesday 16 September 2020.

Speakers for the September Digital Insights session include:

  • Dr Jonathan Scurlock, chief advisor, renewable energy and climate change, for the NFU
  • Caroline Drummond MBE, chief executive, LEAF
  • David Jacobmeyer, organiser, Low Carbon Agriculture show

David Jacobmeyer, Low Carbon Agriculture organiser explains that the webinars are a great opportunity to discuss the changes that are occurring in agriculture. “Digital Insights have been created as a platform where farmers can engage with experts on the monumental shift in farming, as we transition to a low carbon economy.”

“Farmers can pre-register and submit questions before the webinar, and have the opportunity to challenge the speakers after they have made their presentations,” adds David.

Supporting the show and taking part in the first digital insights session, is Caroline Drummond MBE, LEAF chief executive, who is positive about the partnership. “LEAF is delighted to support the Low Carbon Agriculture Show and looks forward to taking part in both the event and its ‘Digital Insights’ webinar series, helping to create a sustainable future in farming, at a key time of transition in British agriculture. LEAF works to inspire farming that’s prosperous, enriches the environment and engages local communities, and Low Carbon Agriculture is very much in line with our principles,” says Caroline Drummond MBE, LEAF chief executive.
