The integration of the National Libraries for Agrifood (NLAF) with the FarmPEP knowledge exchange website will provide a wealth of agricultural knowledge and information resources on a single platform.

More than 40,000 freely accessible agricultural publications and knowledge will be held resources will be held on the FarmPEP site, offering agronomists and farmers a richer and more diverse source of practical and trusted information for UK agriculture, suggests ADAS.

“One place to access information to help farmers and advisers find past, current and future information relevant to their question is very important. NLAF joining FarmPEP furthers the aim of knowledge sharing on all aspects of agriculture. It is continually updated from new projects and farm-led innovation and research, including ADOPT,” says ADAS research director James Clarke.

It is hoped that by bringing these resources together in a single location, it will strengthen knowledge exchange across the sector, and better support on-farm decision-making, professional practice and continuous learning. The move also ensures the research compiled in the NLAF collection remains available to the industry.

Topics cover an array of subjects from crop nutrition to agroforestry and can be accessed by visiting: https://farmpep.net.
