Prestige farming awards deadline approaching

The deadline is approaching for your entries and nominations for the 2026 National Arable and Grassland Awards.

For 2026, we’ve added two new categories, the Andrew Lawman Safety Award and Dealer of the Year, plus revised some categories to reflect the changing nature of the industry. Forage Crop Grower of the Year will include those excelling in all forage crops for feed or energy production, Root Crop Grower of the Year will include potatoes, veg and sugar beet.

In total, 13 trophies are up for grabs:

Agronomist of the Year

Farm Manager of the Year

Cereal Grower of the Year

Oilseed Grower of the Year

Forage Crop Grower of the Year

Root Crop and Veg Grower of the Year

Protein Crop Grower of the Year

Sustainable Farming Award

Young Farmer of the Year

Young Agronomist of the Year

Contractor of the Year

Andrew Lawman Safety Award

Dealer of the Year Award

The National Arable and Grassland Awards will be held on Wednesday, 11 February 2026, at the Hilton London Bankside, in what promises to be a great evening. Hosted by a top comedian, the event includes a lavish dinner and great entertainment to round off the night.

As well as the chance of some well-deserved recognition, it’s an opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy what is always a great evening.
