Following the publication of the final Sustainable Farming Incentive 2026 (SFI26) scheme information, Defra is hosting a webinar with the Farming Advice Service (FAS) on 25 June.
Defra says it is an opportunity to hear directly from members of the SFI policy team, who will talk through the scheme and answer any questions about the offer. Advisors from the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) and Catchment Sensitive Farming (CSF) will also attend.
Earlier this month, Defra confirmed that the total budget for the 2026 Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) agreements will be £240 million. Of the £240 million available for SFI26, up to £60 million has been allocated to Window 1, which is aimed at small farms and those without an existing Environmental Land Management (ELM) revenue agreement. This window is scheduled to open for applications from 30 June 2026, the second window will open to all farms in September.
The webinar will take place on Thursday, 25th June at 2.00 pm. To register, please visit: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/farming-advice-service-fas-sfi26-webinar-tickets-1991698704440?aff=oddtdtcreator
