Mzuri has confirmed that it will cease production and sales in the UK and move to Mzuri World in Poland.
A statement from Martin Lole, founder of Mzuri, reads: “In 2017, in anticipation of Brexit and to secure Mzuri’s place in the European market, Marek Rożniak acquired the intellectual property rights to Mzuri. Since then, under the leadership of Marek and Mzuri World, the brand has continued to evolve and expand. Today, Mzuri World has completed the development of a purpose-built, state-of-the-art production and research facility in Poland, equipped with cutting-edge manufacturing technology.
‘With this milestone achieved, the time has come for all production of Mzuri machinery to transition to Poland, ensuring global product consistency and unlocking the full potential of Mzuri World’s technology-centred approach.’
This decision comes with a rebrand of Mzuri UK. The company will now take on the branding of sister company Razorback, and has increased its portfolio with the GreenTec range of machines. The team will also continue to support UK built Mzuri machines.
With no UK distributors currently in place, the company is willing to sell direct to growers, but it hopes to appoint a UK importer soon. Until then, Razorback will provide additional maintenance and spare parts support to new customers in the short term.
