FETF deadline extended

Defra has extended the Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) application window until midday, Tuesday 12 May.

For those who have started an application, Defra says the time can be used to review and finalise any submission. For those who haven’t applied, it gives more time to consider how the fund could support their business.

The fund details remain the same, with support for those looking to invest in equipment and technology that can improve productivity.

There are no changes to the items on each list, the costs, scoring approach or the claim deadline. Some growers have expressed concerns around scoring thresholds but Defra wants to reassure that scoring is only used if applications exceed the available funding. If necessary, score thresholds are set after all applications have been received and are based on the overall level of demand in that round.
