HSE-CRD has lifted the restrictions on the fungicide isoflucypram (Iblon) co-forms, allowing it to be applied to the same field in successive seasons.
With isoflurapyram applications previously restricted to 75g/ha per field every two years, its minimum recommended rate of 50g/ha effectively limited its use to one season in every two.
At the same time, CRD also granted a label extension allowing for straight Vimoy (isoflucypram) to be used on barley, thereby expanding options for the 2026 cropping season.
Bayer MD Nils Bauer says this is good news for GB growers. “Many have come to appreciate the excellent broad-spectrum performance of isoflucypram and its ability to improve yield through extended crop greening, even where disease pressure is low. It will extend crop protection to successive crops grown in the same field.”
