PGRO pea & bean crop protection course announced

The next PGRO course on Pea & Bean Crop Protection will be held at the PGRO Research Station, near Peterborough on 6 February. This one day specialist course will update agronomists, consultants, growers and crop managers involved in crop protection of peas for combining or vining and winter and spring field beans on major pests, diseases, disorders and weed control strategies.

The objectives are for participants to be able to correctly identify pests, diseases and disorders, appreciate their regional and national significance, be aware of herbicide options – their strengths and weaknesses, and to incorporate control measures into IPM.

The course is recognised by BASIS as part of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
