Claas has completed its Arion 6 Cmatic series with the introduction of two entry level models offering 145 and 165 hp.

All three models in the range are powered by 6.8-litre six-cylinder engine delivering up to 205 hp and a maximum torque of up to 849 Nm at 1,500 rpm. The additional power provided by Claas Power Management.

Both can be specified with the same creature comforts of the 6.190 Cmatic, including premium driver’s seats with a massage function, a high-end multimedia system with wireless smartphone connectivity and Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, as well as a new lighting concept.

Claas claims by coordination of engine characteristic curves and gear shifting via the Cmatic gearbox offers excellent load responsiveness and features functions such as automatic trailer overrun brake and the unique wheel loader mode for front-loader operations.

Awarded with a Silver Innovation Award at Agritechnica 2025, the adaptive power train management features Auto Load Anticipation. Load spikes, such as a tillage instrument, are detected in advance, and the engine speed is proactively increased – whilst simultaneously adjusting the transmission – before the load spike occurs.

Claas says this ensures that handling remains stable even during dynamic changes and prevents drops in engine speed. Further functions regulate engine speed and gear shifting depending on load, driving speed and hydraulic demand.

Further functions regulate engine speed and gear shifting depending on load, driving speed and hydraulic demand. This ensures that the required power is delivered under all conditions of use, with optimised fuel consumption and uncompromising performance. The result is highly dynamic yet fuel-efficient handling, without the need for manual input or action from the operator.

Other operator comforts include ProActiv front axle suspension and a fully-suspended cab to help reduce fatigue, even on long days.
