Although August has always been a quiet month for tractor registrations, the Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA) reports that the slowdown in tractor sales continues.
Sales were barely half of the level typically seen at this time of year, with just 402 units registered. The rate of decline is broadly similar to what has been seen throughout 2025. It means that the total number of tractors registered is now 6,151, 16% down year-on-year.
